Interpid Group’s email marketing specialist APAC Kristy Flay had a record-breaking year in 2018. Kicking ass and taking names, Flay achieved hand-over-fist growth across the board in bookings, net revenue and top line sales, totalling $402 million, and a 25 per cent growth in profitability from the last year, with 53 per cent accounted by the APAC region.
On top of that, she improved inbox placement from 5.9 per cent to a staggering 97.5 per cent, and even achieved a click through rate of 54 per cent, knocking the front teeth out of the travel industry average of 2.5 per cent!
How does she do it? By having a healthy mix of innovation, continually growing and improving, and never resting or becoming complacent. “Success for me looks like constant improvement, not just being better year on year, or at the end of the year, but also month on month, day by day, continually growing and improving,” Flay says. “For me success is not just about hitting targets or meeting KPIs, for me it’s about being the best you can possibly be.”
